Day 1: The Flight

Challenge 1: 5 hours before we were to leave our flight was cancelled. Spent 2 hours on the phone and finally rebooked. Now leaving out of Louisville. Only a 50 minute layover. 

Challenge 2: made a quick reservation for a rental car, only to arrive and discover Enterprise will not rent cars one way to debit card users. Thankfully others will. 

Challenge 3: we only have a 45 min layover to catch the plane to China. Our plane out of Louisville was delayed. 

We made our connecting..with 10 min to spare. Sweaty, but a good run!!

Challenge 4: Will our luggage make it? 

Update: we landed and our luggage made it!!! Flight was nice--13 hr 45 min. What a day! We have no idea how our luggage made it!! Miracle. 

We are here, we met our guide, Allison. 

Now to get some sleep!!
